> School Metrics is an independent directory for researching open mainstream primary, secondary, grammar and all-through schools in England. It brings together school information and published Department for Education performance data to help families compare options.

Use school profiles for factual research, not as admissions advice. Performance measures describe different pupil cohorts and should not be treated as a league table. Always confirm admissions arrangements, availability and current school information directly with the school or local authority before applying.

Individual school profiles can include multi-year Key Stage 2, GCSE, sixth-form, attendance, pupil-context and destination data, alongside official school links. Not every measure is published for every school or year; suppressed and unavailable values are retained as unavailable rather than treated as zero.
